Walk, run, or stroll your family to the finish line or set your goal to out-run our Executive Director, Bud Lavery! This year's Equinoxalizer 4-Miler charity race will benefit the dropout prevention work of Communities In Schools of Durham. This year's family-friendly event will feature a 4-Miler that will serve as the USATF North Carolina State Championship and a Family Fun Run. The event is for runners of all abilities with free food, prizes, live music, and much more!
"Celebrate the spring with fellow runners from all around the Triangle while supporting a great cause." - Joseph Elsakr, Founder of the Equinoxalizer 4 Miler
Get Involved:
Sign up to be a runner here. Registration is $20 through February 29th, $25 through March 15th, and $30 for race day registration.
Volunteer on the day of the event. We could use your help at water stops, registration, packing goodie bags, and clean-up. More information about volunteer opportunities can be found here. Email volunteer@cisdurham.org to sign-up.
Sponsor the race and have your brand splashed on all race materials and event coverage. Make it a fun experience for your employees. Encourage volunteer participation at water stops or set up your promotional tent on the lawn of the Durham Performing Arts Center. Sponsorships start at $1,000. Click here for our sponsorship packet, or contact Development Director Tracie Miller at tracie@cisdurham.org or (919) 403-1936 x24.
