Glenn Elementary 21st CCLC update

Thank you 4th & 5th Grade on a job well done!

At Glenn Elementary School’s 21st Century Community Learning Centers Afterschool Program, we dove nose deep into “Holidays Around The World”. An experience catered to helping our students learn about different countries and how they celebrate holidays! This assignment was an eye opener as students learned that holidays are celebrated in a variety of different ways.

Genesis V & Genesis chose to research and report on Mexico

Our 4th and 5th Grade students created presentations centered around their country of choice. This project was led by teachers, Ms. Mims and Ms. White. Students were able to step out of their comfort zone, by speaking infront of their peers about their country and the holidays and customs that their countries have.
